Periscope is about seeing around the corners. Periscope is about, "Lessons of History”. We live in a world full of noise, amplified and distorted by social media. Our aim is to look beyond the obvious and make sense of change underway. It is about, “Investing for the Future” through the “Prism of History”. As George Santayana said, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”. It pays to study the past and understand how we came to now, which in turn might provide us a glimpse of the future.
There will be a fair amount of History to understand the historic context for many of todays events. Expect to read about eclectic topics: Geopolitics, Geoeconomics, Economic and Financial History and History of Technology.
